  • Classwares Updates (buyers), Oct 26

We sent this update by email on October 26, 2026. It’s posted here as it was sent, so some offers and details in it have since changed. Current plans and terms are on this site.

Open Beta: an open doorway with golden light streaming out

    Hello,

The Classwares open beta is live now. The Create Account links are open, and you can come in and try it.

Everyone signs up as a buyer. After that, you can choose to become a seller if you’d like. Either way, please look around and click on things.

    Create your free account: https://stage.classwares.com

If the button doesn’t work, copy and paste this link into your browser. https://stage.classwares.com

Please remember: this is a beta. Classwares is a test site right now, so things may change. Some stores, resources, and reviews may be sample or test content. Payments use Stripe in test mode, so no real money changes hands.

You can also visit classwares.com. It now has an “Open Beta Starts Now” button that takes you there.

I would love to hear what you think. What works? What is confusing? What is missing? Just reply to this email and tell me, or click on the “bug” button at the bottom of the page to report a problem, complaint, or feature request.

Thank you for signing up and for helping me get Classwares ready.

    Thanks,

    Jeff Naujok

  • Classwares Updates (buyers), Oct 21

We sent this update by email on October 21, 2026. It’s posted here as it was sent, so some offers and details in it have since changed. Current plans and terms are on this site.

    Hello friends,

Thank you again for signing up at classwares.com. Classwares is a teacher-to-teacher marketplace for classroom resources, and it’s coming together fast. It’s been two days since the first update went out, and the site already looks very different.

Here’s an updated look at the store.

    The Classwares home page
A resource page: cover, price and what's included (click for full size)
    Classwares on a phone

These screens are from our beta (test) site, so the stores, reviews and questions you see are sample content.

This is a real, working site with real structure underneath. Real teacher-sellers are already starting to beta test it, and they’re giving us feedback as they go, so it gets better every day.

We expect to open to everyone in days… the end of the month at the latest.

You’ll hear from us again as soon as it’s ready. If you know teachers who sell their own resources, we’d love it if you passed Classwares along by sending them this message or directing them to the https://classwares.com website.

    Thanks for being here early,
    The Classwares Team

  • Classwares is Coming Together Fast!

We sent this update by email on October 21, 2026. It’s posted here as it was sent, so some offers and details in it have since changed. Current plans and terms are on this site.

    Hello friends,

Thanks for signing up early at classwares.com https://classwares.com! I want to keep you all in the loop about where things are at — and the news is good.

I know this isn’t the only site people are trying to build, but I need to make it clear that this isn’t just a shiny demo, this is real, working code. It’s built using enterprise-grade systems used in banks and giant corporate sites dealing with millions of users, so it’s not going to fall down with a few hundred or a few thousand.

How much have I done? Take a look here https://classwares.com/updates/2026-10-21.html.

During the last few days, I’ve been able to make some very large improvements to the functional code and to the appearance of the website. I know that making this site beautiful and easy to use is just as important as making it fast and secure. Right now, I think we may go open-beta by the weekend, and may be live by the end of the month.

Here’s a peek at the seller tools and store pages today:

What your store looks like to buyers
How a buyer sees each resource
What your seller desktop looks like today

These screens are from our beta (test) site, so the stores, reviews and questions you see are sample content.

    What’s Done and What’s Coming

Here’s a list https://classwares.com/features.html of all the features we have finished, and everything we already have planned. Sellers will be able to help us vote on features they want soonest, and we’ll always take suggestions for new features at suggestions@classwares.com mailto:suggestions@classwares.com

Would you help us spread the word?

If you talk with other teacher-sellers, in a group, a forum or a chat, please tell them about Classwares. Anyone who signs up on classwares.com will hear from us as we get ready.

Want to see it early and get a head start?

We’d love your help! We have a test system so you can get to it early, and every account is free! You won’t be charged any subscription fee. Purchasing isn’t quite live yet, so no actual money changes hands yet. Try it out, and if you decide to move forward with Classwares when we go live, you will receive a free year as our way of saying thanks for being an early beta tester. Once we open the beta to everyone, it will switch to three months of free time, so being an early bird is a huge savings for you! You will also be a Founding Member for life, and if you build your store on the beta, you’ll be able to move your account to the live system automatically.

To join the beta, just reply to this email and tell us a little about what you teach or sell. We’ll send you back an invite within 24 hours.

Thanks again for being here early,

  • A first look at Classwares

We sent this update by email on October 18, 2026. It’s posted here as it was sent, so some offers and details in it have since changed. Current plans and terms are on this site.

    Hello,

Thank you for signing up at classwares.com. Classwares is a teacher-to-teacher marketplace for classroom resources, and it’s coming together fast.

First, a little about me. I’ve been developing software for 40 years, and I’ve built enterprise-grade systems for Fortune 500 companies and billion-dollar startups for the last two decades. I build systems that handle millions of users per day — systems secure enough to become critical infrastructure in banks.

My wife taught for almost 18 years and has been a teacher-creator for 14 more, so I’ve heard the problems teachers face every night for decades. Many times I offered to build a better system, but until recently, it felt like a David-versus-Goliath story with no hope of success. I’m sure many of you know what’s changed.

Classwares had already been started as a proof of concept, so when the opportunity came around, I already had a head start. And that’s important to understand, because Classwares is not just demo code. It’s a working system, and we’re adding to it every day. We’re already bringing in beta testers, and improvements land on our test site every single day. We are on course to launch in days or weeks, not months or years.

Here’s a first look at the store.

This is a real, working site with real structure underneath. Real teacher-sellers are already beta testing it and giving us feedback as they go, so it gets better every day.

We expect to open to everyone in the coming weeks.

We’ll reach out again as soon as it’s ready. If you know teachers who sell their own resources, we’d love it if you shared Classwares with them by forwarding this email or talking about classwares.com on online forums.

  • What we’re building at Classwares (and a favor)

We sent this update by email on October 18, 2026. It’s posted here as it was sent, so some offers and details in it have since changed. Current plans and terms are on this site.

    Hello,

Thank you for signing up at classwares.com. I wanted to speak with you directly about where things stand.

First, a little about me. I’ve been developing software for 40 years, and I’ve built enterprise-grade systems for Fortune 500 companies and billion-dollar startups for the last two decades. I build systems that handle millions of users per day — systems secure enough to become critical infrastructure in banks.

Here’s a peek at the store, with sample covers generated to test the system, and a few items added by our beta testers:

Do You Want to Help Build Classwares?

We’d love your help testing it before launch. Every account on the beta test system is free. You won’t be charged any subscription fee, and every purchase uses a test account, so no actual money changes hands. If you decide to move forward with classwares when we go live, you will receive a free year of subscription (a $50 value) as a thank you for being a beta tester. You will also be able to move your account, store, and any resources you created in the staging system to the production system automatically.

To join the beta, just reply to this email and tell us a little about what you teach or sell, and we’ll send you an invitation via email within 48 hours.
