Is anything added to the buyer’s price?
We don’t add a processing fee or the small-cart fee to the buyer’s price. Sales tax is calculated at checkout where it applies.
Can I still sell my resources on other sites?
Yes.
When do I get paid?
Currently once a month. Each sale clears first: 72 hours, or when the refund window closes (no later than 14 days) for resources without a full preview.
Paid seller account
How much does it cost?
A paid account is $5 a month or $50 a year. You choose.
How much does Classwares keep from a sale?
15% of each sale (you keep 85%). Sales that start through the Classwares plugin on your own website are 10% (you keep 90%).
Do I pay before or after the first month?
Before. Payment is in advance, so you pay for the service first, then use it.
How long does the founding price last?
If you first become a paid seller before 12:00 a.m. Mountain Time on January 1, 2027, that is your founding price. Your founding price of $5/month or $50/year is locked in for as long as your account stays actively paid. If it lapses or you cancel, the founding price ends. It covers the membership price only. Sales fees follow the Terms.
Do buyers pay a membership?
Only sellers pay that membership. Buyers do not.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Your membership renews unless you cancel before it renews.
Free seller account
Does a free seller account cost anything?
A free account pays no subscription.
How much does Classwares keep from a sale?
On a free account, Classwares keeps 25% of every sale and you keep 75%.
Can I bring my resources over from another marketplace?
You bring your own files. You can import a zip or a CSV file of your own resources. They come in as drafts, and nothing is for sale until you publish it. We don’t log in to another marketplace to copy your store.
Can I switch to a Paid membership later?
Yes. A Paid membership is $5 a month or $50 a year. Become a paid seller before 12:00 a.m. Mountain Time on January 1, 2027, and your $5/month or $50/year membership price is locked for as long as your account stays actively paid. A free account alone doesn’t count, but beta sellers who receive a complimentary paid period are founding sellers.
